Internal Applied Analytics Internship - Summer 2024

CME Group is currently looking for a summer intern to assist the Internal Applied Analytics group.

The candidate will assist the team with its analytics projects and monthly and quarterly performance reporting functions.

Principal Accountabilities:

• Assist the Internal Applied Analytics team with the development of automation solutions for monthly and quarterly performance reporting

• Assist with the development and testing of an ML model to identify client profiles

• Support the team's monthly and quarterly reporting functions by generating data visualizations and insights

• Work with the Advanced Liquidity team to assist with GCP data migration

Skills / Software Requirements:

• SQL and Python experience

• Ability to query, analyze, interpret, and provide insights from data at a product, customer, and region level (Data Storytelling)

• Tableau experience - preferred

• Working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office: Excel, PowerPoint, Word

Education:

• Pursuing a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or other quantitative Business field

Location & Hours:

• Internship is local to Chicago, IL (able to travel to office located at 20 S. Wacker Dr.)

• 40 hours per week with hybrid work schedule
