    Internal Sales Consultant Job Purpose (Job Summary): The Internal

    Sales Consultant (ISC) will be responsible for utilizing a consultative based selling approach to promote and sell Invescos full product line to maximize revenue generating potential for Invesco. **Key Responsibilities / Duties: ** * Enhance Revenue Generation through campaign based execution of strategic initiatives. * Utilize Consultative Selling skills to align Invescos product line up with Advisor client needs. (3D Sales Approach Discover, Discuss, Decide). * Partner with RVP and sales management to implement/execute joint business plan which ensures achieving US Sales objectives based on client engagement, client analytics and consultative selling. * Utilize Focus Advisor program to allocate resources across service offerings and firms, including refining our marketing/thought leadership approach. * Strong understanding of the Advisor Segmentation Model to customize approach to each segment to maximize revenue generation (Preserve, Maximize, Mine, Nurture Segments). * Leverage Predictive Lead generation based on analytics to enhance revenue generation. * Build prospecting strategy to penetrate smaller firms/lower producers through face-to-face meetings, phone and electronic contact with key decision makers as needed. * Review client information including literature, website, platform investment options and various internal and external resources to determine competitive marketing ideas and potential sales opportunities with these firms. * Travel regularly within territory to participate in client home office meetings, due diligence discussions, investment presentations, marketing campaigns, special events, attendance at selected industry conferences and opportunistic One on One meetings. * Participate in programs which raise the caliber and effectiveness of the salesforce through training on investment processes, portfolio construction principles and consultative selling. * Participate in accredited comprehensive training curriculum that evolves salesforce capabilities with respect to: investment discipline communication capabilities, investment discipline technical understanding, and investment discipline knowledge. * Effectively represent IVZ capabilities and value-added programs that meet the unique needs of each client/channel. **Work Experience / Knowledge: ** * 1-2 years financial services experience, preferably in a sales capacity. * Familiarity with systems such as Morningstar Direct, Bloomberg and Zephyr. **Skills / Other Personal Attributes Required: ** * Develop advanced knowledge of investment products to have thoughtful discussions with an extremely sophisticated client base. * Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain productive working relationships. * Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills. * Excellent analytical and organizational skills. * The individual must be highly motivated, flexible, and have the ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, team environment. **Formal Education: ** * Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field. **License / Registration / Certification: ** * Series 7 and 66 (or 63/65) registrations within 120 days of hire. * Pursuit of MBA or CFA, CIMA or similar certification a plus.
