This intern position will be with the Denver-based Value Equity Team and assist in the evaluation and management of companies across the market-cap spectrum principally in the US.

The intern will work directly with the team in applying the foundations of value investing. Depending on skillset and interest the intern may spend time developing quantitative tools to assist the team’s fundamental process.

This position will also gain exposure to all aspects of the portfolio management process and experience working with risk, trading, marketing as well as other summer interns.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Conduct industry and company research.

• Perform financial analysis and modeling.

• Monitor and manage current portfolios.

• Create and prepare presentations on new and existing stock ideas.

• Interact with company management teams and sell-side research.

• Other duties as assigned.

• Currently a graduate student with a concentration in Finance, Economics or Computer Science with a Finance or Economics focus or similar quantitative field of study.

• Highly motivated with a deep desire to learn about Investments.

• Currently pursuing or planning to pursue the CFA designation.

• Must be proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.)

• Programming skills (Visual Basic or similar) in Excel and Access are a plus.

• Experienced with Bloomberg and FactSet.

• Professional demeanor with ability to multi-task.

• Self-directed, detail-oriented problem solver with a desire to contribute to the organization's reputation and success.

• Previous experience in an investment role is appreciated, but not required.
