    Job Description

    Internship for Summer 2023 - Hybrid or Remote

    SVB Capital’s investor relations team acts as an extension of our Limited Partners, helping them access the global innovation economy. The investor relations team is responsible for fundraising support, pipeline management marketing content, due diligence materials, hosting events, and Limited Partner engagement and reporting.

    The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent organizational and project management skills, superior attention to detail, the ability to work well under tight deadlines and manage competing priorities. The candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills. A successful candidate will be a self-starter and demonstrate the ability to work both independently as well as collaborate across the different teams within SVB Capital and across the broader Silicon Valley Bank:

    Investor meeting support, including preparation including the generation of new and unique materials including presentations, portfolio updates, reports, agendas, bios, and any additional briefing documentation

    Maintenance of LP data in the CRM, make sure information is accurate and all engagement activities are captured. Assistance backfilling information into the system.

    Assist in the generation of broader investor relations initiatives such as thought leadership pieces, investment commentary and webinars, as needed

    Respond to detailed client requests for information, RFPs and DDQs and help maintain detailed response database.

    Coordination of cross-platform mid-year update memo to LPs

    Limited Partner survey support

  • Qualifications

    Seeking a rising junior (Class of 2024) Or senior (Class of 2025)

    Work or academic experience with the following: Interest in investment Management, Marketing, Private Equity, Hedge Funds, Venture Capital, Investor Relations (e.g.. basic accounting, interest in Venture Capital etc.)
