    About the Role Are you a manager looking to work with an experienced leadership team whose passion for management is equaled only by their commitment to quality software development? Then look no further! You will lead a team that is directly responsible for the roadmap, development, and maintenance of Invoca's machine learning services while upholding high standards via modern agile methodologies: test-driven development, continuous deployment, and DevOps. All the while, you will grow your career and skills supported by your peers and Invoca's in-house training programs.

    You are excited about this opportunity because you get to:

    Ramp with Invoca's SDLC and build a relationship with your team by getting hands on with the code during onboarding Provide technical mentorship, code reviews, and project leadership for your team Coach and mentor your team members to achieve their career goals in regular one-on-ones Maximize teamwork while minimizing meetings Work with your team to architect solutions to challenging problems, including:

    • Machine learning
    • Responsive user interfaces with React and GraphQL
    • Scaling services to handle ever increasing demand
    • Large scale data warehouses

    Use metrics and your team's collective experience to drive development decisions Attend on-going, formal, management training classes Be actively coached by your management peers Share your passion for learning about management and technical topics with your team and peers About You We are excited about you because you have:

    • Experience mentoring, coaching and growing software engineers
    • A track record of leading technical projects, maintaining features in production, and solid prioritization with a customer focused mindset
    • Previous experience working closely with Product Management in an agile continuous deployment environment
    • A desire to create elegant, scalable, and maintainable products and tools
    • Knowledge of Object Oriented Programming, Test Driven Development, MVC design and SOA
    • Experience with some of our core technologies: Ruby/Python, MySQL/PostgreSQL, Kafka, React, and GraphQL
    • An interest in machine learning
