    Initiative - Negotiator, Digital Partnerships Job Description Position Summary The Senior Negotiator, Digital Partnerships is required to develop, recommend, execute and evaluate digital media plans from inception to completion with moderate oversight from the Manager. The Senior Negotiator should be able to work fairly independently once given project parameters, goals and budgets to develop a sound recommendation with clear rationale. The Senior Negotiator will oversee the Negotiator and Associate in terms of daily maintenance to ensure consistent processes are being followed and all client schedules are delivering. Essential Functions Client Able to take on a more client-facing role with moderate oversight from senior team Attend regular client status meetings, creative statuses and maintain on-going rapport Analyze and provide clients with research data and media/marketing information Internal Work collaboratively with team members to develop and manage media plans for Digital (display, mobile, social, video, gaming, search) Provide senior-level guidance to Associates and Negotiators on day to day functions Mentor and assist in the training of Associates and Negotiators Work closely with Strategy and Comms Design teams to ensure that overall strategy is woven into all media choices Provide partner selection recommendation and justification designed to deliver on client KPIs using the most sophisticated use of data and analytics, via multi-faceted, strategic partnerships, while delivering maximum strategic value and efficiency Conduct industry research using various media tools such as comScore, @Plan, eMarketer as well as general research via the web Develop the RFPs and oversee the submission process with media partners Continually vet out real-time opportunities to ensure our clients are remaining competitive Develop industry and partner POVs with Managers oversight Participate in the development of KPIs with Strategy Oversee all production timelines, creative development and creative hand-offs to ensure campaign launches on time and without issue Evaluate partner proposals, negotiate plan details, develop plan and ultimately present plan recommendations to internal stakeholders and clients Identify and present new and emerging partners and opportunities in the marketplace Oversee campaign implementation, optimization, and performance of campaign activities including authorizations, IOs, budgets, creative, reporting and the billing and reconciliation process Manage all partner specific budget allocation, optimization, media partnership programs and added value details Commercial Secure best in class marketplace pricing Foster strong relationships with media partners Ensure understanding of MAGNA negotiation priorities Qualifications Education: Bachelors degree in related field or equivalent work experience Work Experience: 2+ years of experience in a media planning/buying position at an advertising/media agency Preferred experience in both digital and traditional media. 2+ years working within the Internet space preferred Experience with campaign management/ad serving technology: Double Click DART, Atlas DMT, Media Mind Skills: Preferred working knowledge of third party Internet marketing research: comScore Media Metrix, Nielsen NetView, @Plan, NetRatings, and others Experience managing multiple, competing priorities, duties and/or projects. Proven ability to accommodate evolving responsibilities and last minute changes Strong time-management and organizational skills Familiarity with basic accounting/math principles; basic statistical analysis experience is a plus Proven ability to develop and maintain strong professional relationships with clients, colleagues, and vendors Required PC proficiency and solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) Strong written, verbal communication and negotiation skills.
