Description: Analyze department and system design proposed to create controls and manage risk for various business functions within the CWM Operations. Collaborate with external partners to review functional specs and work requests with external / internal audit to minimize risk through ensuring there are adequate controls. Work with department managers to evaluate Risk Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) processes, and make procedural/ departmental changes as needed. Define roles and responsibilities of key stakeholders accountable for risk management processes, establish and track requirements, escalate and ensure issues/decisions are resolved, manage changes, document and participate in testing requirements, create and manage implementation plans, lead/participate in meetings at the operational and project level. Operational Risk & Control Analyst Job Function: Coordinate with Operations managers and functional partners to advance Chase Wealth Managements (CWMs) operations risk and control initiatives. Analyze CWM Operations risk and control environment for continuous process improvement and perform control effectiveness testing. Responsibilities include: Identify, analyze, manage and document business requirements, test cases, and conduct testing for department risk management. * Validate controls are designed appropriately and operating effectively; Perform and document control effectiveness testing * Document and communicate findings to various levels of management in a clear and concise manner. Coordinate with operational team members to implement lean strategies and process improvements * Maintain RSCA(s), process maps and procedures to reflect the businesss risk and control environment and manage the administration of issues and action plans * Assist in developing, maintaining and improving program policies, strategies, controls and procedures within the assigned CWM Operations Group * Create a framework for continuous monitoring and process improvement * Responsible for providing operational support and project leadership including the analysis and execution of assigned projects. * Requires 3+ years of experience in one of the following: External or Internal Audit, Quality Assurance, Oversight & Control, Risk Management
