    Global Wealth Management - Hedge Fund Group - Macro & Relative Value Strategies - Assoc/VP - New York Req #: 180074859 Location: New York , NY, US Job Category: Asset Management Job Description: Position Description JPMorgan Private Bank Hedge Fund Due Diligence is responsible for selecting and monitoring hedge fund managers (multiple asset classes including equity, fixed income, macro, etc.) for investment by high net worth clientele. Hedge Fund Due Diligence Research Analysts work closely with operations/structuring, portfolio construction, internal/external investors, and asset class leaders while becoming the central contact with external hedge fund managers. The Research Analyst has a background in Credit Markets and is capable of: Researching, helping select, and monitoring investment funds including data maintenance and analysis (both recurring and bespoke) Integrating within relevant investment universes to source new opportunities Underwriting new investments utilizing analytical skills drawn out of quantitative, qualitative, and interviewing skills to frame and present an investment thesis to senior management Articulating investment underwriting process to both external managers and investors while conveying knowledge and credibility Qualifications The attributes of the successful candidate include: Bachelors degree in Finance (CFA, MBA, Masters a plus) 3 to7 years of practical, hands-on investment experience in credit analysis or capital markets Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills Specific knowledge of core financial markets and economic principals as well as a solid grasp of the mathematical principles underlying basic asset allocation and performance measurement Capability in record keeping and details are key Able to draw out information through good listening and questioning skills Apply Now
