The Legal Department of JPMorgan is seeking a highly motivated individual to join us as a documentation specialist supporting the U.S. Private Banks Lending Solutions business. The Private Bank is involved with every facet of wealth management, including investments, liquidity and credit management, and tax and estate planning. Roles and Responsibilities: * Provide documentation and other support to the legal team for the U.S. Private Banks Lending Solutions business. * Responsibilities include, among other things, review of client documentation required pursuant to internal guidelines (e.g., trust agreements and entity organizational documents), preparation of requisite certifications and consents and similar authority documentation, preparation and, in some cases, negotiation of credit documentation, preparation of requisite filings, coordination of documentation required for certain jurisdictions, maintenance of document databases and internal files as needed. QUALIFICATIONS: * College degree. * Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook and LEXIS and Westlaw. * Minimum 3+ years of relevant law firm, financial institution or other comparable experience with lending transactions. * Consumer lending experience helpful. * Experience in legal research, entity document review and providing summary presentations. * High level of organization and ability to manage a wide variety of responsibilities. * Ability to work independently and under compressed deadlines. * Strong interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills. * Strong verbal and written communication skills. * Detail-oriented approach. * Adaptability and ability to apply existing skills to unfamiliar subject matter areas. * All candidates for roles in the Legal department must successfully complete a conflicts of interest clearance review prior to commencement of employment.
