Advice Lab is a unique advisory group made up of a multidisciplinary team of subject matter experts responsible for developing innovative and differentiated strategies and solutions. The team works directly with clients and professional advisors to bring best in class advice across several disciplines. The primary Advice Lab disciplines include: Corporate Executive Compensation, Tax Advisory, Private Business Advisory, Estate Disposition Analyses, and Planning Tools & Analytics. Role Description The Analyst will primarily work within J.P. Morgan Private Banks Advice Lab disciplines to provide support for the team on research, modelling, preparing presentation materials, creation of publications, answering ad hoc discipline-focused questions, and tracking of business metrics. The Analyst may also, on an as-needed-basis, support similar initiatives within the broader Wealth Planning & Advice teams, which include areas focused on wealth transfer/estate planning, financial planning, and philanthropy. Responsibilities * As mentioned above, support the teams senior subject matter experts in all projects * Answer ad hoc discipline-related questions from the Private Bank colleagues to help address clients and prospects unique situations * Provide customized analysis and describe output results for the teams suite of tools to assist Private Bank colleagues with wealth transfer planning conversations and the general tax efficiency of investment, credit & other product offerings * In time, develop and/or improve planning tools to further enhance the teams sophisticated solutions for clients and prospects * In time, serve as a secondary client-facing resource around the Advice Lab disciplines Qualifications * Bachelor's degree required * Prior internship or work experience in the financial services industry preferred * An intellectually curious, strong self-motivator who can work closely with business partners * Ability to transform both quantitative and qualitative information into a compelling presentation * Proactive, accountable and detail oriented work ethic * Demonstrates a sense of urgency and comfortable multi-tasking * Excellent organizational skills, diligent with tracking and reporting * Experience using Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) JPMorgan Chase offers an exceptional benefits program and a highly competitive compensation package.
