Chase Consumer & Community Banking serves nearly 60 million households and 4 million small businesses with a broad range of financial services, including personal banking, small business banking and lending, mortgages, credit cards, payments, auto finance and investment advice. We are looking for a Technical Implementation Analyst within Chase Commerce Solutions/Merchant Services with a skillset that combines both consulting and testing to work with our merchants to enable them for Credit Card transaction processing with Chase technology. The incumbent will manage the implementation process which begins with consultation and technical discussions with client technology teams. Following, consultation, the client undergoes the testing and certification process. The Technical Implementation Analyst works closely with the client to certify their products with Chase and/or the Card Brands. Technical Implementation Analysts may manage mid to very large scale strategic implementations and/or components of projects for Chase clients. The incumbent may also be engaged in other special projects related to processes or tools used during the implementation process. Responsibilities include: * Act as the primary technical resource proficient in the knowledge of Credit Card Payment Processing Industry products and services with a working knowledge of Chase or Card Industry supported connectivity options, protocols, formats, and product functionality to be able to present and discuss Chase offerings to assigned customers (internal and external), assisting assigned clients with choosing the best options for their processing needs. * Complete consultations and certification requirements with external entities to ensure software integration meets all product and service standards for feature set, connectivity, industry, and regulation standards. Thoroughly analyze data transmitted to the certification host, and publish results to clients. Manage the interactive process of results/fixes with the client. This may include technical conference calls with clients, integrators, resellers, and hardware vendors depending on the circumstances. * Direct successful conversions of products and services from a technical perspective for new and existing clients from their current processing environment to Chase platforms. * Represent Technical Implementations on corporate project teams created to support new product development. Provide customer focus and viewpoint based on experience with customers to the project team, as well as provide in depth knowledge of how the new product would/could integrate with our current technical offerings. Qualifications: * Requires 3-7+ years of work experience in a technical role within the Credit Card payment processing industry. * Requires experience in a technical role, including but not limited to Networking, Quality Assurance, Sales Engineering. * Minimum 2+ years Connectivity knowledge (i.e. MPLS, VPN, and Internet). * Minimum 3+ years Protocol knowledge (i.e. TCP/IP, S-FTP, HTTPS). * Minimum 3+ year Format knowledge - know how to read and consult on technical specifications (transaction and file based). * Minimum 1+ year experience diagnosing issues in applications, data messages, network connectivity. * EMV (Europay, MasterCard, Visa) technology and Certification experience is highly desired. * Experience in the Point of Sale (POS) industry, Stratus and Tandem operating systems/applications a strong plus. * Able to comprehend complex client requirements and discuss appropriately with senior level management (internal and external). * Ability to multi task, carry heavy work load, and effectively prioritize. * Must have a professional demeanor and communication skills to effective deal with customers and escalations. * Excellent customer service skills * Highly motivated with the drive to learn new skills * Quality Assurance experience is a plus * Team Player with the willingness to collaborate with other technical and non-technical partners * Technical project management experience is a plus. * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is strongly preferred.
