Experience : 0 Description : Business Description: The CIB RWA/Capital &
Liquidity Risk Management team is a group within the Treasury function
in CIB Finance whose primary responsibility is management of the risk
weighted assets and capital framework for the Corporate & Investment
Bank. The team provides support to the CIB Capital Committee ensuring
businesses' risk weighted assets are in line with overall capital model,
and providing insight into the usage of capital as we manage through the
future rule changes of Basel. The team is also involved in supporting
CIB objectives of maximizing return on capital and competitive
comparisons of capital, RWA, asset usage and returns. Clients of the
group include senior management, business heads, product controllers &
planning and analysis. The team works extensively with the LOB External
Reporting and Product control groups to ensure complete and accurate
reporting of risk weighted assets for actuals. The group also works
closely with the Corporate Finance, Regulatory Policy, and Model Risk
and Development to ensure a complete understanding of business issues
and the accurate execution of policies. Job Description: The individual
will support reporting and analysis of Basel III RWA for the CIB. The
individual will also engage additional projects that support the CIB RWA
and Capital Team portfolio including CIB integration, new rule
implementation, and strategic technology. Responsibilities will include:
- Oversee monthly and quarterly reporting of CIB Basel III RWA results.
- The quarter-end process includes: preparing sign off on behalf of the
CIB for earnings press release and producing allocated CIB RWA results
for upload to Paragon system. + Reporting process requires interaction
with Corporate and CIB LOB Controller partners. + Liaise with the CIB
LOB's for sign off, to address questions, compile variance commentary,
and process adjustments as needed. + Take ownership of external and
internal reporting to prepare for sign off. Includes detailed
reconciliations, review, and presentations for senior management. +
Coordinate projects and manage BAU technology processes in the CIB
Capital Controller team. For example, Paragon, FDW, Capital Desktop, and
new strategic projects. + Partner with Capital Implementation team on
implementation of new Basel III rules and policies in reporting process.
- Ability to manage corresponding processes. Qualifications + Bachelor's
degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field
and 2-3 years of experience in Accounting, Finance or related field +
Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills. + Familiarity with internal JPM
systems, Paragon and Access a plus + Project Management and Technology
background, a plus Key Skills + Attention to detail + Ability to improve
