and employing more than 2,000 staff. Overview of the Role This role
supports the Janus Henderson Investment staff through the order
generation and trade execution lifecycle. This includes assisting with
order entry and editing, quality review, compliance review, order
execution support and research and resolution of complex problems. This
role will interact directly with Janus Henderson Investment staff across
all asset classes, external counterparties and internal business
partners on trade detail and problem resolution. Duties and
Responsibilities - Works closing with the Portfolio Managers by
providing assistance and support during the order generation and
compliance approval process. This may include generating or editing
orders. - Assists the traders with staging orders for execution or
addressing adhoc issues or requests during the order execution process.
- Handles all aspects of trading and model generation for the SMA
business. Responsibilities include deriving and maintaining portfolio
models based on portfolio management activity along with preparation,
trade routing for execution and confirmation of trades in the Vestmark
system. Trade preparation includes but is not limited to trade rotation,
tax lot harvesting and corporate action processing. - Generate and/or
fill trade orders to facilitate currency, internal cross and private
placement transactions. - Assists in researching and resolving problems
including compliance issues, trade errors, problems with securities,
reporting requirements and/or monetary issues. - Performs quality
control activities to ensure accuracy of trade order calculations. -
Assists in maintaining data in multiple trading databases, including
setting up/updating securities, creation and maintenance of broker, etc.
- Assists in the basic testing and implementing of new systems and
system enhancement/upgrades. - Effectively escalate issues to management
when appropriate. - Liaise with counterparties on trade details and
resolve issues as necessary Other Functions Assumes additional duties as

with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks - Ability to
work independently within established guidelines - Strong verbal and
written communication skills - Intermediate computer skills including MS
Word and Excel - Knowledge of mutual fund/financial services
industry/financial markets - Must be accurate, well organized and able
to work in a fast-paced environment - Must be able to meet deadlines -
One year of related experience in the mutual fund/financial services
industry. A bachelors degree may be substituted for one year of
experience. - Bachelors Degree required Ongoing competence in the role

Overtime may be required on short notice and may include
weekend/evening/holiday hours - Physical open space environment with fax
machine, copier, telephone, calculator, stock monitors, trading systems,
