Responsibilities: Candidate undergoes structured training program, involving Flow Assurance Technical Lectures Programme, Lunch n Learns, etc. Work on Flow Assurance projects under close supervision of experienced Flow Assurance Leads/ConsultantsTake OLGA/PipeSim/PipeNet/Ledaflow simulation files from a previous project and be able to update/modify/adapt the same for execution of planned work. In due course, he/she should be able to develop related simulation files, depending on project requirements.Perform fluid characterizations for the purpose of creating thermofiles for the planned simulationsUnderstand what is being achieved by these analyses. Relate the simulation model development to actual physical systemUnderstand implications of all inputsRelate the analysis file to the project-specific Flow Assurance Basis of Design Perform rigorous thermo-hydraulic analyses and generate resultsUnderstand the interpretations of the results made by the Flow Assurance Leads/Consultants and their implications. In due course, he/she should develop the acumen to understand and interpret the results of the simulationsSupport preparation of Technical report and presentations, in accordance with the guidelines for Flow Assurance report compilationDevelop the necessary skills to progress to the next level and be able to semi-independently perform Flow Assurance analysis with guidance from experienced Flow Assurance Leads/Consultant.Develop an understanding of all internal work procedures including, but not limited to:HSE/Q proceduresReport writingHR policies Skills / QualificationsWorking towards a BS/MS/PhD degree in Chemical and Mechanical, and Petroleum Engineering from a recognized university or college in a relevant discipline, with specific emphasis on Fluid Flow, Flow Assurance, Thermo-hydraulic simulations, Fluid Properties Characterizations, Reservoir and Surface Equipment Assessment and Production ChemistrySound technical knowledge, including Fluids, Thermo-hydraulics and Heat TransferCompletion of OLGA Simulation Basic Training with certification preferred. Completion of OLGA Advanced Simulation Training a plus. Completion of Ledaflow training is a plus.Stong verbal and written communication skills.
