Job Description
The Contracts Administrator is responsible for drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and finalizing a variety of contracts, including Government contracts, non-disclosure agreements, teaming agreements, and subcontracts. The ideal candidate has working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), the Department of Defense supplement to the FAR (DFARS), GSA Schedules, and the Federal contracting lifecycle. The successful candidate is extremely organized, responsive, and service-oriented, thriving in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, team-based environment. Individual must have strong written and verbal skills to effectively interface with all levels of management and Government officials. Must be able to work independently to meet time sensitive deadlines.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Use functional experience to draft, review, and negotiate non-disclosure agreements, teaming agreements, subcontracts, and service agreements in line with corporate policy and objectives
· Assist with contract negotiations and work with clients and management to develop resolutions to issues and/or business disputes
· Prepare requests for proposals to subcontractors, analyze RFPs and solicitations, pricing, and contract terms and conditions
· Assist in the preparation of internal contracts reports and information for contract management, and the completion of Federally mandated reporting
· Maintain extensive contact and a close working relationship with the corporate Accounting Department for proper understanding and entry of contract information into the corporate accounting system, and coordination of resolution of accounting and invoicing issues related to contract provisions
· Assist in maintaining soft-copy contracts records
· Maintain extensive verbal and written communications with contracting personnel at Government agencies and commercial firms to negotiate contract and subcontract terms and conditions, contract and subcontract modifications, and to discuss issues of contract performance and administration, invoicing issues, and close outs
QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge and Skills:
· 3-5 years of experience with contract administration for contracts with the Federal Government
· Working knowledge and experience referencing and interpreting the FAR/DFARS, and various other Federal agency regulations
· Working knowledge of GSA Schedules and all contract types
· Experience with analyzing, redlining, and negotiating contract terms and conditions
· Ability to obtain a U.S. secret level security clearance (requires US Citizenship)
· Proficient in Microsoft office
· Knowledge of Salesforce / DocuSign a plus
