You will be encouraged to refine your existing skills in an environment of empowerment, gain new experiences, and progress to the limits of your own motivation. nbsp; We are committed to empowering our interns, providing ongoing training and guidance, respecting individual ideas and providing thenbsp;opportunity to develop, grow and advance in one of the many business units at LMCU including Mortgage, Branch/Retail or in one of our corporate offices. nbsp; Lake Michigan Credit Union is looking for a dedicated individual to join our Mortgage department at our corporate office as anbsp;Mortgage Post Closenbsp;Intern for the winter months (January 2019 - April 2019). nbsp; Location ndash; Corporate Office (Lake Drive), 4027 Lake Drive SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546 Responsibilities * Assisting with recommending appropriate products and services for LMCU members. * Assisting with LMCU member payments and processing title checks. * Creating surveys that compare Mortgage rates at LMCU to other financial institutions rates. * Compiling reports to help the Mortgage department in tracking key data. * Analyzing reports and putting together summaries of the data. * Helping with special projects as needed. Qualifications * Experienced and knowledgeablenbsp;with using the Microsoft Office Suite. * Enjoys working independently, but contributing in a team environment. * Able to maintain confidentiality. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Able to perform multiple tasks at one time and is very detail-oriented. * 3.0 GPA or greater. * College student at freshmen, Sophomore, junior, senior or master level status or a recent college graduate within the last 3 months with a focus innbsp;anbsp;business relatednbsp;field.
