Lake Michigan Credit Union is looking for a dedicated individual to join our Information Systems department at our corporate office as a Information Systems Intern for the winter months (Jan. 8, 2018 - April 13, 2018). Location ndash; Corporate, Glenwood Hills ndash; 5540 Glenwood Hills Parkway SE Grand Rapids, MI 49512 Responsibilities Responsibilities of an Information Systems Intern could inlude the following: * Assisting with the creation of purchase orders. * Tracking and updating hardware and software contracts. * Assisting in verifying all employee requests submitted to the Information Systems department. * Updating all documents and inventory within the Information Systems department, including Disaster Recovery software. * Assisting in documeting procedures and updating all Information System databases. * Assisting with other tasks as needed. Qualifications * Experienced and knowledgable with using the Microsoft Office Suite. * Ability to maintain confidentiality. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Ability to perform multiple tasks at one time and is very detail-oriented. * 3.0 GPA or greater. * College student at freshmen, sophomore, junior, senior or master level status or a recent college graduate within the last 3 months with a focus inComputer Information Systemsor a related business field.
