    Lending Operations Manager For A Rapidly Growing Non-QM Lending Company The Role As Lending Operations Manager, you’ll be the operational backbone of our lending business, ensuring nothing slips, clients are supported at the highest level, and our pipeline runs smoothly from submission to close. You’ll work hand-in-hand with our sales team, processors, VAs, and capital partners to increase our pull-through rate, reduce friction, and create systems that scale. This is a full-time role based in Kansas City, with regular in-office collaboration at our HQ and some flexibility for remote work when appropriate. Responsibilities: • Own the entire loan pipeline from approval to close, ensuring every deal moves forward daily • Manage and optimize LendingWise CRM/LOS workflows, follow-up tasks, and automations • Build, lead, and hold accountable a team of VA loan officer assistants (LOAs) and processors • Ensure borrowers, LOs, and capital partners get proactive communication and updates • Flag, fix, and follow up on last-mile loan issues : conditions, trailing docs, and closings • Build SOPs, checklists, and dashboards to track KPIs, deadlines, and performance • Conduct daily/weekly loan pipeline reviews with the sales and processing teams • Eliminate tasks from the loan officers’ plates so they can focus 100% on origination • Collaborate with leadership on strategic scaling and team structure What Success Looks Like • Loan pull-through rate climbs from ~50% to 70%+ • Every loan has clear next steps and daily ownership • LendingWise is fully utilized, organized, and running tight • The team has fewer fires, more clarity, and faster closings Qualifications: What You Bring • 3+ years in lending operations, processing, or pipeline management (Non-QM/DSCR preferred) • Deep familiarity with lending timelines, lender-side follow-up, and investor loan nuance • Tech-savvy with CRMs and LOS platforms (LendingWise a plus) • Proven people and process manager — you’ve led teams, trained VAs, or built systems • Exceptional follow-up, accountability, and detail orientation — nothing gets by you • Bias for action — when you see a problem, you fix it (or find the fix fast) • Comfort in a high-growth, high-speed startup environment • Bonus: Experience as a real estate investor or working with investor borrowers Compensation: $70,000 plus bonus
