Under the supervision of the VP Loan Servicing, this position is responsible for:

• The timely and accurately processing of all payoff for first mortgage and consumer loans.
• Monthly submission and review of files to our external audit company and to respond to and correct any found concerns and issues
• Responding to reports received from the audit company regarding issues and concerns found
• Responding to and send payoff requests, prepare releases and payoff letters to customers, Attorneys, title companies and mortgage companies
• Canceling flood insurance and PMI insurance
• Researching and watching trends in the industry
• Assisting with the QC of new first mortgage loans
• Preparing monthly payoff reports to account for the number of requests for loans beings sold, refinanced with Farmington Bank and refinanced with other banks
• Guiding, directing, influencing and educating residential personnel with daily compliance questions
• Ensuring compliance is adhered to meet Bank policies, laws and regulations
• Other duties as assigned

• Associates Degree or equivalent required with 3 to 5 years of relevant banking or financial services experience
• Requires excellent knowledge of servicing, loan processing, residential loans, consumer loans, and accounting principles
• Must have PC computer skills including the Internet and Microsoft Office; Outlook, Word and Excel
• Regular attendance is an essential function of this position.
