    JOB DUTIES:

    • Help patients use the bathroom
    • Clean and bathe patients or residents
    • Maintain patients' hygiene and change bedding
    • Turn, reposition, and move patients between wheelchairs, seats, and beds
    • Serve meals and help patients eat their food
    • Measure vital signs like blood pressure and temperature
    • Listen to patients regarding any health concerns they might have and report details to a Registered Nurse or Doctor

    REQUIREMENTS

    • CNA license in Florida
    • Ability to work weekends, evenings and flexible hours
    • Current CPR/BLS Certification
    • Must be able to read, write and understand the English language.

    FOR CENTRAL SUPPLY COORDINATOR:

    POSITION SUMMARY: An employee in this position performs manual and clerical work in receiving and checking shipments from outside the Center and issuing supplies to nursing personnel. The work requires familiarity with a great variety of stock items, ability to make accurate counts in receiving and issuing, and ability to exert considerable physical effort organizing and distributing supplies to locations throughout the center. Considered the Incontinence Specialist managing incontinence supplies, distribution and acts as consultant for size and product type specific to individual customer needs. The work is performed under general supervision and is checked by observation, physical counts, and a review of records.

    RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES: (Essential job functions are identified with an asterisk.*)

    1. *Fills requisitions from nursing departments for a variety of medical and other supplies; assembles items and delivers to specified locations.

    2. *Receives shipments from trucks at shipping and receiving areas; checks items against purchase orders and places them in stock.

    3. Maintains inventory to readily meet the needs of the customer while maintaining established budgetary guidelines. Returns items for credit as needed.

    4. *Assembles items received in an organized system, maintains a rotation of stock items and distributes incontinence products to Nursing Units/Customer Rooms.
