If you think you have these core attributes we want to hear from you. Job Summary: This roles primary responsibility is to provide support and assistance to underwriting staff. Responsibilities include collecting data, organizing reports; perform administrative duties for new and renewal accounts, and any other tasks assigned underwriters. Support underwriting teams in issuing policy/contract documents; Prepare and maintain all hard copy and worksite files from Submission to Bound, this will include scanning and filing of all required underwriting information that is not received via email; Review, evaluate, obtain necessary information and/or approvals, and ensure proper documentation in imaging file for policy servicing requests such as notices, endorsements, Underwriting requests, etc. while maintaining departmental service and accuracy standards; Process offers, binders and premium adjustment; Setup all new and renewal submissions and assist with the process from Submission to Bound; Respond to internal and external queries, following up with action as required; Assist with special projects and backstop others on team as required. Qualifications, Education and/or Experience: Related business degree, or working towards a designation; 1 2 years of experience in an insurance/reinsurance environment; Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and PowerPoint; Ability to multi-task, handle high volume in a fast-paced atmosphere; Consistent attention to detail with ability to work to deadlines, accuracy is a must; Ability to work at own initiative within a team environment.
