Our Marketing and Corporate Communications department is committed to managing the corporate brand, enhancing the firm’s image and assisting our various businesses with client communications and new business development. Our Marketing professionals create and produce comprehensive marketing communications programs that incorporate a variety of tools, including presentations, brochures, fact sheets, advertisements, media relations programs, events and targeted marketing electronic campaigns to promote Mesirow Financial as a leader in providing quality financial services.

The Marketing and Corporate Communications internship provides college students with the opportunity to utilize their communications skills within a professional setting. Interns train and work within the collaborate inner-workings of the Marketing Department while learning about the breadth of Mesirow products and services via lunches, shadowing opportunities and lectures hosted by other departments across the company.

• Research
• Web and multi-media projects
• Marketing database clean-up and reporting
• Advanced web analytics and reporting
• Social media content
• Internal communications (intranet)
• Office organization

Requirements

• Graduation in December 2018 or later
• Minimum GPA: 3.3
• Interest in marketing and communication
• Strong writing and communication skills
• Working knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel and InDesign
• Strong social media knowledge
