The primary responsibility of the Events and Community Intern is to help ensure successful execution of events and project management of our partner community efforts. You will be able to see an event from start to finish!

We are looking for this intern to be location in North Dakota - ideally Fargo/Moorhead area.

RESPONSIBILITIES RELATED TO EVENT PLANNING:

• Volunteer recruitment and management via SignUp Genius

• Registration management and tracking within Salesforce

• Cross referencing referencing hotel pickup with registration

• Setting up event surveys within Survey Monkey

• Managing event mailbox within Google

• Assist with planning, coordinating, and executing special events such as golf and receptions

• Gift and shipping coordination

• Food/Beverage selections

• Work with and take direction from outside vendors as appropriate

• Attend events as appropriate and act as onsite resource and concierge

RESPONSIBILITIES RELATED TO COMMUNITY EFFORTS:

• Assistance with the facilitation of our Advisory Board logistics

• Project management in CoSchedule - Setting up tasks in the tool

• Assist with task and deadline tracking for the team as it relates to events

• Mics Social Media posting and reporting

• Managing our marketing request form and assigning to appropriate people

ASSISTANCE WITH MISC. MARKETING EFFORTS:

• Running errands for the Marketing team (shipping/purchasing items as needed)

• Some travel involved
