DESCRIPTION

The Salesforce Internship is an opportunity within our CRM Team to learn about the Salesforce platform, the system development lifecycle (SDLC), and being a part of the agile team. The Salesforce intern will participate in agile ceremonies, development, project management, data quality, analytics activities.

This is a 1-year paid internship for undergraduate students with a desire to learn Salesforce and the inner workings of an agile project team. This program is targeted toward students who are interested in technology, project management, data analytics, and organization skills.

CME Group Salesforce intern will gain experience in Salesforce configuration and best practices. They will learn how to run projects using the SCRUM methodology and working closely with Project Managers and Developers.

OPPORTUNITIES/INTERN EXPECTATIONS:

REAL DEVELOPMENT EXPERIENCE: Be embedded on a software development team and participate in the full life cycle of projects from inception to delivery.

DATA ANALYTICS EXPERIENCE: Learn how to collect analytics requirements from business and provide data-driven insights with CRM Analytics dashboards. ENRICHMENT: Participate in Salesforce trainings and development. MENTORSHIP: Receive coaching and mentorship from a team of managers who are invested in your success and skill development.

LASTING CONNECTIONS: Build personal networks and friendships with students from around the country who share your passion for technology.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

• A passion for problem solving

• A passion for technology

• Interest in data analytics and predictive analytics

• Experience in query languages (e.g. SQL) is a plus

• A desire to learn & go beyond what is expected

• Candidate must be local to Chicago and able to come in office on a hybrid schedule
