    Requisition Number 19-0002 Post Date 1/2/2019 Title Risk Analyst Part Time No City Irvine State CA Description CRB Auto, a division of Mechanics Bank is currently searching for a Risk Analyst . The Risk Analyst is responsible for Portfolio Risk as it pertains to the servicing of originated auto accounts. This includes, but is not limited to: Assist in the development of new servicing strategies, and ongoing analysis to optimize existing ones Develop, design and analyze portfolio trends and assess risk of those trends. Assist in the development, implementation and support of Behavioral scoring packages. Produce and analyze risk, operational, demographic and other reports as necessary. Produce special ad hoc reports and analysis as necessary. Produce and support internal/external customers, including; Sales, Credit, Servicing, Accounting, Senior Management, Investors, Rating Agencies, etc. What you'll do: Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; gathers and analyzes information skillfully; develops alternative solutions; works well in group problem solving situations; uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics. Prioritizes and plans work activities; uses time efficiently; plans for additional resources; sets goals and objectives; organizes or schedules other people and their tasks; on time delivery of scheduled and ad hoc assessments. Looks for ways to improve and promote quality; demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness. Document and share best practices within the department and companywide. Understands business implications of decisions; displays orientation to company exposure based on credit decisions; demonstrates knowledge of automotive indirect lending processes; aligns work with strategic goals. Requirements Who you are: Have strong handle and working knowledge of SQL and/or SAS Intermediate to Advanced Knowledge of Excel Have strong analytical skills and ability to identify appropriate analytical approaches depending on business needs.
