Internship - Business Unit Co-op Knowledge/Skills/Abilities The Business Unit Co-op is an integral part of the Molina Healthcare staff and is provided with tasks that are both technically challenging and educationally stimulating. Under guidance of the senior staff and management, the student will be part of a team associated with a specific aspect of Molina's lines of business and programs where the individual can gain experience and skills for future application, as well as contribute to the business. Ability to acquire healthcare business knowledge through department experience Ability to interact with high level management, such as Managers/Directors /Vice-Presidents Ability to adhere to deadlines and effectively manage multiple tasks Ability to work in a team Ability to communicate verbally and in writing to an level of excellence Ability to abide by Molina's policies Ability to maintain attendance to support required quality and quantity of work Ability to maintain confidentiality and to comply with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) Ability to establish and maintain positive and effective work relationships with a diverse network of coworkers, clients, members and healthcare providers Ability to collaborate as a team member, giving and seeking information.
