The Commodities Division is a market leader in energy, metals, and agricultural product trading worldwide whose professionals trade in both physical and derivative commodity risk. The FX Options desk strat team is part of the Sales & Trading organization aligned with the FX Options business. The FX Options desk trades the full spectrum of vanilla and exotic products across a wide range of currency pairs up to around five year maturity. FX Options is seeking an experienced candidate in New York to contribute to the development of derivative pricing and risk models used by the trading and sales teams. Primary responsibilities include: Collaboration with trading desks to identify commercial opportunities; Ongoing maintenance of existing models and research into new models; Collaboration with IT, QA and other teams to co-ordinate delivery of new functionality; Co-ordination with independent risk and control functions; Daily support for pricing and risk queries from trading and sales; Skills required (essential) 3+years experience with foreign exchange option markets; Advanced degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Physics or Computer Science; Strong technical skills in delivering production quality code; Familiar with stochastic models used in short-dated derivatives pricing; Strong communication skills (the role requires effective collaboration across a range of groups and regions); Ability to present complex issues clearly, both verbally and in writing; Ability to work thoughtfully, independently and manage multiple projects; **Primary Location: **Americas-United States of America-New York-New York **Work Locations: ** **Job: **Desk Strategists **Organization: **Morgan Stanley **Job Posting: **Nov 8, 2018
