02-Jan-2019 Title Financial Analyst Intern Job Description Hartford Steam Boiler is currently recruiting for our 2019 Summer Intern Program. In order to be considered, you must be in an undergraduate university program (rising Sophomore, Junior, or Senior). As part of your internship, you will be working with one of our key business areas in which you will be assigned a mentor where you will be exposed to various types of work and projects, while collaborating with a number of experienced professionals in our organization. As part of this program you will gain exposure to valuable resume building opportunities, networking activities and a final group project to complete the experience. In this Financial Analyst position, you will compile, interpret, and analyze data for reporting in excel Produce timely and accurate reports and analyses Create expense / product allocation templates in excel Assist with compiling exhibits for annual budget report (Orange Book) Compile expense data (using Excel/Access) using existing data outputs Requisition Number 2635BR Qualifications Required Qualifications: Rising undergrad majoring in any of the following - Accounting, Finance, Economics Strong Excel skills knowledge will be tested during interview MS Office including PowerPoint Strong verbal/written communication skills Ability to pick up new concepts quickly Self-starter with a sense of urgency Ability to work independently and as a part of a team State Connecticut Employment Type PT <20 Hours Additional Information We are an equal opportunity employer.
