02-Jan-2019 Title Finance Intern Job Description Hartford Steam Boiler is currently recruiting for our 2019 Summer Intern Program. In order to be considered, you must be in an undergraduate university program (rising Sophomore, Junior, or Senior). As part of your internship, you will be working with one of our key business areas in which you will be assigned a mentor where you will be exposed to various types of work and projects, while collaborating with a number of experienced professionals in our organization. As part of this program you will gain exposure to valuable resume building opportunities, networking activities and a final group project to complete the experience. In this Finance Intern position you will assist with the preparation of quarterly reports and ad hoc analyses. Update programming for reports/website and troubleshoot as necessary. Prepare data required for the various analyses. Perform data integrity reviews. Set-up and run webscrapping programs. Accumulate webscrapped data into a usable analytic database. Requisition Number 2623BR Qualifications Required Qualifications: Undergrad in Math, Statistics or other Technical Major that has completed Sophomore year. Skills: Advanced Excel skills. Familiar with programming. Familiar with Microsoft Office suite and PowerBI. Attention to detail. Strong documentation and communication skills. Ability to work independently.
