    National Funding, a stable and growing financial technology company located in San Diego, is looking for an Executive Vice President of Marketing. The Executive Vice President of Marketing will be responsible for the overall Omni-channel marketing strategy and lead generation across National Funding and its subsidiary Quick Bridge Funding. This strategic leader will inspire and continually develop the team responsible for shaping and delivering the overall media / contact strategy to drive inbound leads to a qualified salesforce that results in ROI positive results.

    HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

    • Lead and scale the Marketing team to drive overall market strategy functions through data driven analytics, across all channels and functions.
    • Mentor, lead, coach, and develop Marketing Department of 8-10 people. Be willing to roll up your sleeves and execute on tactics.
    • Provide thought leadership and operational oversight of digital strategies including acquisition, website conversion experience, social media, affiliates and more.
    • Provide guidance on continuing direct mail marketing, with emphasis on ROI-positive list management and creative execution.
    • Develop and nurture new sources of leads, including relationships with lead aggregators, to obtain leads that fit customer targets and are ROI positive.
    • Partner with Sales to develop strategies to convert leads/prospects to clients using appropriate creative, frequency and messaging efforts. 
    • Partner with Analytics to continually maximize efficiency and effectiveness of marketing. Analyze results, evaluate effectiveness and ROI of all marketing initiatives. Report results to senior staff.
    • Partner with Technology leader to define requirements to scope and roadmap marketing technologies to drive leads that drive business results.
    • Inspire Innovation by identifying opportunities for New Product development to serve small business owners

    THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

    • Bachelor degree in Marketing, Business, or Management preferred.
    • 10+ years of relevant experience and progressive growth in financial services with B2B customers
    • Demonstrated ability to create winning marketing strategies and plans that build revenue
    • Ability to inspire desired results from others with willingness to personally drive projects
    • Experience in building successful integrated, demand generation programs for B2B customers
    • Experience building word-class marketing programs in a small business environment a plus
    • Marketing Technology background and/or interest highly desired, especially Salesforce or other CRM, Marketo or other Marketing Automation, WordPress or other Content Management Systems, Google Analytics or other digital marketing analytics.
