GENERAL SUMMARY:

The Business Intelligence Developer is a detail-oriented individual with excellent data warehousing skills. This individual is experienced working alongside business stakeholders across the organization translating business requirements into functional data models.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Creates, improves and evolves SQL data warehouse for fluid business needs
• Manages server resources, improves architecture for efficiency, query optimization
• ETL (SSIS, PYTHON) data from various sources
• Supports business intelligence analysts in ad hoc analysis in SQL, PYTHON
• Provides analytic support and strategic thought partnership to business partners
• The ideal candidate will have the ability to gather business requirements and work backwards into an effective data model.
• The ideal candidate will feel confident to make recommendations to the business on improving data culture.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse development
• Expert in SQL SERVER
• Experience with RDS
• Experience with TABLEAU preferred
• Experience with PYTHON preferred
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills
• Outstanding communication skills with both technical and non-technical colleagues
• Experience in Finance, Mortgage, Banking is a plus
