This is the career path for you!  You will be responsible for calling prospective clients, establishing a relationship, and transferring them to a licensed agent. This position does not include any cold calling! All of our outbound calls are warm leads that we have quoted in the past or have requested a quote online.

     

    Prior sales experience is not necessary, but the motivation and passion for being a successful salesperson is a must! We offer two weeks of in-depth and paid training and provide you with all the tools you need to be successful in inside sales. Training covers NatGen products and systems and proven sales techniques to empower you for success. You do not need to have a P&C license.

     

    Compensation

    Our high performing new Sales Representatives earn an average of $37,000 to $44,000 per year with an hourly base pay and uncapped incentive on call transfers.  We also offer frequent sales contests for cash bonuses and prizes!  We help coach and develop you to move into a licensed agent role, where we pay for your P&C license and you have ability to make $100,000+ per year.

    PRIMARY PURPOSE:

    An Inside Sales Representative (Sales Screener) is responsible for calling prospective clients to establish a business connection with a NGIC licensed sales agent. This is an entry-level sales opportunity with amazing growth potential for those who seize the opportunity.

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

    • Conducting outbound calls to warm prospects and existing clientele
    • Selling National General Insurance as an organization
    • Connecting prospective clients with licensed sales agents
    • Conducting requests for quotes

    DESIRED SKILLS:

    • Bachelor’s degree is preferred, but not required
    • Previous experience in sales (may include insurance, financial services, retail, or other related industries).
    • In lieu of sales experience, will consider candidates who have strong desire and aptitude to start a career in sales.
