Job Description Job Title: Software Engineering Intern Team: Locations: Product Engineering Rexburg, ID Manager: Status: Manager, Product Engineering Part Time, Intern, Non-Exempt Position Summary: As an intern on our Product Engineering team, you will work with and learn from talented software engineers and quality assurance professionals, developing skills that will prepare you for a career at NAVEX Global or another high-tech company. You can expect to primarily participate in developing automated tests and enhancing the automated test suite for our industry leading GRC applications. This is a year-round position designed to allow students to work part time while attending school an ideal opportunity for students in the Rexburg, Idaho vicinity. ------------ In This Role You Will Often: * Help us to build and maintain a large, complex automated testing framework for our world class web based software applications. * Write code as necessary to enhance our test framework. * Complete other programming/QA tasks as needed. Skills & Requirements This Job Might Be For You If You: * Have a strong desire to pursue a career as a software engineer. * Have a solid understanding of basic programming and design techniques. * Are a motivated individual with the ability to learn and come up to speed on new technologies. * Have completed multiple junior or senior level programming courses. * Have solid experience in at least one programming language (C, C++, Java, C#, etc.) * Ability to solve practical problems and carry out responsibilities with minimal assistance from management. * Enjoy the satisfaction of knowing that the products you build are having a positive ethical impact. * Live in or plan to relocate to the Rexburg, Idaho area.
