Job Description
Responsible for the system administration of multiple operational systems including bank control of the banking core, online account opening systems, and wire processing systems including the Federal Reserve. Responsible preparing quarterly and annual reviews of user access and controls; systems upgrades, disaster testing, vendor management review and report writing.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- System administrator the FIS suite of applications including the IBS Core, Deposit Origination System, eWire, FedLine Advantage, ACH Tracker, XAA, online account opening system.
- System administrator for other operational systems such as the Federal Reserve, CXI, and DTS.
- Coordinate with IT on system updates for screen and form changes in the deposit origination system, analyze new system features and roll out as requested by product managers and department owners
- Prepare quarterly high-risk system reviews and annual medium and low system reviews
- Prepare annual review of core system users and access levels
- Review of system upgrades including testing
- Head up disaster recovery testing with core system vendor
- Perform vendor due diligence for new and existing vendors
- Oversee bank control for the FIS core, testing changes and putting them in place
- Creating and scheduling reports through the IBS BIC system and Monarch
- Prepare for FDICIA audits, ensuring procedures are updated when systems have changes or new systems are onboarded
- Work with product and department managers to implement or update systems
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of ten years operations banking experience
- Knowledge of banking systems, FIS and IBS preferred
- Familiarity with bank regulations
- Excellent computer and technical skills
- Bachelor’s or associate degree or related experience
- Excellent interpersonal, internal customer service skills
- Professional oral and written communication skills
- Excellent with organization and time management
- Detail oriented work ethic
- Internal customer service focus
- Self-motivated, energetic
- Ability to work independently as well as a team member
