    RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

    • Regularly interacts with end users to understand their current operating state, identify possible systems or process changes to increase efficiency, and propose their implementation to IT and the stakeholders.
    • Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new or special assignments.
    • Provides advice, guidance, and training to other IT/IS employees.
    • Makes recommendations on vendor selection and oversees vendor activities.
    • Collects, documents, and manages user, functional, and technical requirements for laboratory operations and/or Discovery applications.
    • Creation and management of process maps for system and business workflows.
    • Assists with application configuration changes following IT Change Management (ITCM) and GMP Change Control procedures.
    • Develops qualification/data migration protocols for supported applications.
    • Participates in system release and post-deployment support activities with Quality, System Owners, IT Operations, and IT Service Desk.
    • Work internally to ensure high availability of supported application systems.
    • Documents common resolutions/solutions and common application support processes in the IT Service Desk knowledge base.
    • Establish and maintain vendor relationships for laboratory computerized systems.
    • Leads cross-functional teams for small to mid-sized projects.
    • Participates in global and large projects with varying levels of complexity.
    • Travel to other sites may be required.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    • Masters in Biological, Chemical, Computer Science or equivalent qualification level.
    • 2+ years of business analyst experience
    • At least 5 years of experience working with validated information systems. Experience with lab processes is highly desired.
    • Practical knowledge and application of cGMPs (industry experience/awareness) especially relating to quality assurance processes and procedures.
    • Must possess excellent customer service, problem solving, troubleshooting, negotiation, and verbal/written communication skills.
    • Able to generate complex process maps using BPMN.
    • Strong adaptability and capable of working in fast paced environments.
    • Subject matter expert on SDLC principles, industry best practices, and assigned system(s) (SDLC/ADLC)
    • Computer System Validation (CSV) and GAMP5 experience a plus.
    • Experience with ITIL, COBIT, or other IT good practices desirable.
    • Demonstrates effective written and verbal business communication across the organization and with senior leadership.
    • Effectively develops and presents complex subject matter and concepts to employees and senior leadership.
    • Builds strong relationships with employees and leaders across the organization.
