    We are seeking a Business Analyst for Corporate Systems that will serve as a primary business partner to IT for several corporate organizations corporate (Human Resources, Legal, Investor Relations, Corporate Communications), developing, supporting and transforming their technology needs.

    RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

    • Regularly interacts with end users to understand their current operating state, identify possible systems or process changes to increase efficiency, and propose their implementation to IT and the stakeholders.
    • Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new or special assignments.
    • Provides advice, guidance, and training to other IT/IS employees.
    • Makes recommendations on vendor selection and oversees vendor activities.
    • Collects, documents, and manages user, functional, and technical requirements for human resources, legal and corporate affairs.
    • Creation and management of process maps for system and business workflows.
    • Develops qualification/data migration protocols for supported applications.
    • Work internally to ensure high availability of supported application systems.
    • Documents common resolutions/solutions and common application support processes in the IT Service Desk knowledge base.
    • Establish and maintain vendor relationships for relevant systems (HRIS, contract management, ERP, LMS, SharePoint, etc.).
    • Leads cross-functional teams for small to mid-sized projects.
    • Participates in global and large projects with varying levels of complexity.
    • Define, measure, and report KPI's and SLA's for provided commercial and corporate business technology services.
    • Demonstrate experience in all aspects of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) including the assessment of leading technologies through to operational support.
    • Travel to other sites may be required.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    • Minimum of 5+ years of experience working in or supporting corporate systems, preferably within life sciences.
    • 2+ years of business analyst experience.
    • Must possess excellent customer service, problem solving, troubleshooting, negotiation, and verbal/written communication skills.
    • Strong adaptability and capable of working in fast paced environments.
    • Experience with ITIL, SDLC principles, industry best practices, and other IT good practices desirable.
    • Demonstrates effective written and verbal business communication across the organization and with senior leadership.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills, and the ability to communicate enterprise concepts to technical and nontechnical audiences at various levels.
    • Motivates self and others.
    • Proven ability to formulate technical roadmaps and manage to those roadmaps.
    • Experience with contract and vendor negotiations.
    • Strong focus on process improvement.
    • A candidate that is passionate about Novavax's mission to help create and manufacture a vaccine to eradicate COVID-19.
