  • Responsibilities

    This position is responsible for the solution area of Customer Centricity - within the broader Business Intelligence, Customer Service, and Collaboration solution. The solution specialization will extend to the collection of IT Applications. Due to the interconnected nature of the company’s business and supporting IT applications, the applications within the area of specialization may integrate with applications in other solution categories, requiring frequent collaboration with Business Analysts and other team members within the regional and global IT organization. A successful solution specialist will develop considerable business process and functionality expertise for the applications within the assigned specialization. Additionally, this position works very closely with the company’s business functions and stakeholders. The role will include significant elements of business analysis, change management, documentation and subject matter expertise for the assigned specialization.

     

    KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & DUTIES

    Required Skills

    Successful candidates will possess advanced knowledge of standard business tools such as MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.) and Microsoft Visio. Qualified candidates will have a thorough understanding of planning, analysis, implementation, and testing techniques required to support medium-scale business operations systems, have a strong working knowledge of functional business areas such as finance, accounting, information technology or business operations, have the ability to effectively manage multiple assignments and priorities concurrently, have a demonstrated history of applying varied approaches to solve complex business support challenges of significance to the organization, and have excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to act in a consultative role to understand functional business processes and related information technology needs to develop relevant solutions and delivery proposals.

    Required Experience

    Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited 4-year college or university. Successful candidates will possess at least 5 years of strong technical or operational experience within cross functional teams in a matrix organization. Experience establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with other business organizations and diverse groups of people is essential, as well as experience with functional and technical aspects of major enterprise business systems and related technologies.
