Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to manage across multiple tasks and work across diverse businesses and customers. Ability to quickly learn how to analyze data and prepare presentations. Work independently and as part of a team and manage stakeholder expectations and deadlines Preferred Requirements: Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to gather and analyze data and develop fact-based recommendations. Communication Skills: Clearly articulate ideas through concise and timely written and verbal correspondence. Project Planning Skills: Understand timing constraints of work and initiate activities with sufficient lead time to successfully deliver against project deadlines. Proficient with PC applications: Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Responsibilities: * Work cross-collaboratively with sales, financial planning, category management, marketing, and supply chain to learn and contribute to building partnerships with our customer base. * Develop internal and external presentations including sales, assortment planning, financial planning and ad-hoc projects as requested. * Prepare and publish sales reports and consumption data, participate in key meetings, and perform other ad-hoc assignments. * Leverage data mining tools to pull data, reports and information to build stories and report on results . Manage, track and problem-solve customer product offers, purchase offers and analyze shipments and deliveries. Implement and maintain a variety of other functions to support the sales organization. MUST HAVES: Microsoft Office: Advanced Excel, Powerpoint, Word - a must; Access helpful Data Analysis Multi database experience (there are so many databases, person needs to understand how to pull data and interpret it) / i.e. Nielsen, IRI, SAS Databases * Understanding how to read retail customer sales data * Strong Communication/Presentation skills * Multi-tasker, ability to work cross-functionally across multiple teams and multiple varied projects * Someone that needs little direction and thinks outside the box * Ambitious, personable, good with customer service 4 yr degree a must, current MBA student ideal.. 15 hours ago - save job - original job
