Operations Associate II - Advisory Account Services
SUMMARY
The Advisory Account Services Associate II is responsible for aiding in driving departmental results by opening, terminating, and processing changes as well as additional tasks, which could require more experience and expertise to perform. This position requires a sound understanding of the Account Services processes while serving as a liaison to internal and external stakeholders. This position will requires strong collaboration among team members and branch personnel to execute on instructions submitted by the branch on behalf of our clients under direct supervision.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Accurately process all advisory account requests while adhering to departmental procedures and guidelines provided by leadership
Proficient processing of new and existing advisory accounts in all systems used for the advisory platform as well as additional higher level tasks for the department
Identify potential problems or issues that fall outside of standard procedures and provide leadership with ways to improve operational efficiency
Demonstrate effective communication skills within the department and to key stakeholders
Provide timely updates on progression of job responsibilities to leadership
Demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively both within a team and outside of the department
Assist in the advancement of both departmental and firm wide initiatives when needed
QUALIFICATIONS
Strong attention to detail skills to minimize risk to the firm
Initiative and self-direction when performing tasks with the ability to organize and prioritize effectively in order to meet deadlines
Ability to utilize sound judgment in order to assist with more complex issues with the ability to disseminate relevant information to leadership
Able to handle large workloads that vary based on heavy volume periods
Ability to work autonomously throughout the day based on performance criteria provided by leadership
Ability to assist in training both new and existing associates on departmental processes regarding the advisory account services processes
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent related experience required
1+ years of professional business related experience required
