This role provides the Independent Compliance Risk Management organization with oversight and detailed analysis of, resource roles required to effectively manage compliance across the organization. This role is a key member of the Independent Compliance Risk Management - Organizational Design team, and works closely with senior stakeholders within ICRM, Human Resources and Finance.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage the resource requirements for the ICRM organizational structure. Manage and implement best practices and integrate principles and guidelines, where appropriate, to maximize span of control, effectiveness, consistency, and alignment across the organization and ensure that roles across the organization with similar scope, breadth, depth etc. are leveled the same.
- Partner with Human Resources (HR), Finance and Compensation to prepare documents for senior leadership, board, and regulatory meetings and perform research on roles to identify comparable roles across the organization
- Manage a team of 4-5 resources on the Organizational Design process
- Manage, develop and maintain a resource tool that the function and HR partners can leverage to support their Organizational Design efforts such as job aids on titling, career architecture, job families, etc.
- Assist the Capacity Planning team in proactively and accurately predicting future talent/headcount needs across ICRM.
- Ensure controls are in place to address the day-to-day activities
- Provide credible challenge to ensure roles align to the organizational design principles
- Ensure the team is maintaining the Citi Compliance job description library and conduct quarterly audits.
- Manage, automate, and simplify Organization Design role review tracking logs and put together reporting and analytics to show trending across the business units.
- Manage additional priorities as assigned.
- Interacting and working with other areas within Citi, as necessary.
- Keeping abreast of regulatory changes, new regulations and internal policy changes in order to further identify new key risk areas.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree plus 10+ years or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with people at all levels of the organization
- Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and navigate in a complex organization
- Advanced analytical skills
- Ability to effectively manage a team and drive thought leadership
- Excellent project management and organizational skills and capability to handle multiple projects at one time
- Must be a self-starter, flexible, innovative, and adaptive
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Demonstrated knowledge in area of focus
