    The Payments, Virtual Solutions, and Innovation (PVSI) team includes Operations, Consumer Credit Card, Retail Services, Consumer Deposits, the Innovation Group, Treasury Management, Merchant Services, Marketing and Wells Fargo Virtual Channels and the professional services teams that partner with these businesses.     An Outbound Sales Specialist 1 is responsible for assessing customer needs through financial consultation. Based on customer needs, incumbents offer products and services to prospective customers using either pre-established leads or leads sourced by incumbents. Informs customers of company current promotions and products. Requires extensive knowledge of company, products, and/or services. May require advanced problem solving and/or sophisticated techniques. Incumbent may act as a liaison between various departments and customer to reach conclusions with the customer.

    Primary responsibilities for this role may include but are not limited to:

    • Informs Merchants of company's current promotions and products
    • Requires extensive knowledge of company, products, and/or services
    • May require utilization of advanced problem solving and/or sophisticated sales techniques in a business to business conversation
    • Incumbent may act as a liaison between various departments and Merchants to reach sales conclusion
    • This role within Wells Fargo Retail Services will help supplement other business development activity by scheduling sales meetings for assigned outside District Sales Managers and inside Sales Reps

    HOURS:  8:00am –5pm Monday through Friday and requires the flexibility to work additional hours to support business needs.

    • 6+ months of experience offering products and services to customers based on their needs demonstrated through work or military experience
