    This position is responsible for execution process & systems optimization (EPSO) as a part of the Execution Analyst team. The role owns the execution operations of LDC’s North American Domestic Grains and Oilseeds division. The scope includes front and back office IT systems, business processes, and operational/managerial reporting. This position reviews business processes, participates in software testing, and develops information reporting solutions for the execution department. This position will explore efficiency opportunities thru the use of robotics and other automation tools in tandem with existing systems

    Main responsibilities

    Primary Responsibilities/Essential Functions • Assists in performing comprehensive multifunctional analysis of current state business processes, organization, and systems, and identifies business improvements to incorporate into future state processes • Assists in the definition of requirements of significant tasks for projects within the business unit • Performs strategic project tasks within the business unit and assists other business unit and technical personnel to drive successful project completion • Supports the Execution Business Process Owner and business unit partners at multiple locations to understand business needs and translate those needs into functional requirements in support of strategic projects • Assists the Execution Business Process Owner in implementing improvements to key daily processes across multiple locations and IT systems

     

    Required Skills

    Basic qualifications: • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments at the same time • Working knowledge of basic accounting principles. • History of applying varied approaches to analyze and solve business challenges • Broad range of computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft programs, especially MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Visio will be beneficial. • Understanding of relational database concepts • Knowledge of, or willingness to learn, reporting tools such as Crystal Reports, Power BI, SSRS, etc… • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Comfortable working with individuals at all organizational levels

    Required Experience

    Basic qualification: • One to three years of Business Analyst experience, or experience in a related field.

    Preferred qualification: • Business Analyst experience in accounting/business/commodity operations.
