    OVERALL PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVE OF POSITION

    This position is responsible for the accurate loading, moving unloading of product by operating a forklift to lift and transport product pallets from palletizes to warehouse storage areas and to trucks, rail cars, and containers

     

     

    Primary Responsibilities/Essential Functions

    +--------------------------------------------------------------------------+ | - Knows and observes Plant Safety work procedures and rules, | | Environmental Practices and GMP guidelines. | | - Transfers finished goods product from the palletized area to their | | designated storage locations in the warehouse according to defined | | Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). | | - Transfers finished goods product from racks or other staging areas | | to trailers or railcars according to defined Standard Operating | | Procedures (SOPs). | | - Loads trucks or railcars in the most efficient and timely manner | | possible according to defined Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). | | - Responsible for process quality and Safe Quality Food (SQF) program. | | Perform quality checks at prescribed intervals to insure the best | | quality products are being shipped.     Required Experience

    EXPERIENCE

    The following are the basic qualifications:

    • Minimum one year forklift driving experience required.
    • Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid forklift license.
