THE TEAM: Private Equity and Real Estate (PERE) Product Management (PM) is a global team of subject matter experts responsible for growing and supporting Citi's $16 billion platform of private equity and real estate offerings. Given the largely bespoke nature of the platform's product portfolio, PERE PM acts as a central point of contact for a wide range of Citi's capital sources to deliver a unified response from Citi's many internal functional groups. PERE PM team members cultivate relationships with and drive execution across Citi's global teams, including Research, Sales, Tax, Legal, Operations, Compliance, and all other relevant functions. PERE PM team members also drive highly responsive, proactive relationships with capital sources across Citi's recently unified Citi Global Wealth Investments platform, including Private Bank, Consumer, Wealth at Work, and multiple other channels managing assets. Coordinating with team members across North America, EMEA, and APAC, the PERE PM team provides uninterrupted coverage to ensure both excellence in after-sales support - driving further platform reinvestment - as well as pre-sales training and engagement, identifying opportunities and emerging challenges. Full life cycle support for Citi's burgeoning alternatives platform often requires a decade or more of PERE PM coverage for investors and funds, ensuring an always-engaging environment of fresh challenges and critical thinking to resolve time-sensitive novel concerns. THE ROLE: The PERE PM Product Analyst position is a role targeting finance professionals with relevant private equity and real estate experience. The candidate would drive delivery of core PERE PM products and services described more fully below, subject to guidance from senior team leadership. The role includes extensive one-on-one mentoring with multiple management levels, hands-on training in the relevant processes, and support for personal career planning and growth. The position offers significant opportunity for advancement over a longer term as well as an excellent vantage point for developing an in-depth working knowledge of Citi's vast resources. The ideal candidate is a self-driving problem solver capable of acting as an internal consultant to Citi. The candidate should be able to identify, collect, and synthesize information sources into distilled analyses ready for action by senior management. RESPONSIBILITIES
