    Job Description

    The Patient Services Representative - Float provides crucial administrative and operational support across our Respiratory and Sleep Disorders Specialists Care Centers. This role is vital for ensuring a smooth patient experience, from initial check-in through follow-up care. The ideal candidate is a highly adaptable, detail-oriented professional with a compassionate demeanor who can confidently manage front-office duties in various clinic settings.

    • Act as the first point of contact for patients, families, and visitors, greeting them warmly and managing check-in and check-out processes.

    • Schedule patient appointments and coordinate follow-up care, including appointments for sleep studies, physician visits, and testing.

    • Answer and triage a high volume of phone calls, and assist with general office tasks such as filing, scanning, and faxing.

    • Maintain accurate patient records in the electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring all information is complete and confidential in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

    • Float between various clinic locations as needed, quickly adapting to new teams and workflows.

    • Collaborate with specialists to ensure seamless care for patients with respiratory conditions and sleep disorders.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent required.

    • Proven experience in a medical office or healthcare environment.

    • Strong understanding of medical terminology, particularly related to respiratory and sleep medicine.

    • Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

    • Ability to work independently and effectively manage time in a fast-paced, multi-site environment.
