The Penn Mutual Pathways Internship is an intensive program, where participants learn the skills it takes to launch a successful career in the lucrative financial advising industry. The program is designed for you to work alongside our team of financial advisers who will provide you with extensive training, development programs, and mentorship all while giving you the opportunity to build your resume and supplement your classroom learning by making a real world contribution in business. This internship will be located in Braintree, MA and you will be working for our locally known agency Concord Wealth Management . We are looking to fill only 1 position for Summer 2018. What We Offer : 10 week internship Competitive pay Training and development opportunities online and with our advisers Exposure to the agencys leadership team Networking opportunities and client events Opportunity to obtain your resident state Life, Accident and Health Insurance License Potential to be considered for full-time employment after successful completion of the program Key Internship Experiences : Pursue a career in the financial services industry while being guided by a mentor and working as part of a team Learn the systems and processes to be a successful financial adviser Understand the basics of personal and business finances; we will also work with you on your own personal Financial Plan Assist financial advisers in preparing for client meetings, including developing presentations for clients and prospective clients Learn insurance and investment products available to solve specific client needs Sharpen your skills in communications and marketing to help build your personal and professional brand Strengthen and enhance your analytical skills Organize and coordinate targeted marketing programs, financial planning seminars, recruiting events, and client appreciation events Required Skills A minimum GPA of 3.0 Rising Juniors and Seniors currently enrolled in college preferred Prior sales and/or financial experience a plus Demonstrated teamwork and leadership through extracurricular activities Ability to work independently and as part of a team Qualified to work in the United States for any employer Applicant should currently live in the greater Atlanta area Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills Thrives in a fast paced, challenging, and exciting work environment Superior problem solving skills Enthusiastic, high energy and positive attitude About Penn Mutual Established in 1847, The Penn Mutual Life Insurance Company is committed to the noble purpose of helping individuals, families and small businesses make the most of lifes possibilities.
