    JOB DESCRIPTION:

    The SVB Private Bank serves the needs of individuals who are part of the Innovation sector of the U. S economy. This includes venture capital and private equity professionals as well as C-level executives from all the businesses Silicon Valley Bank serves nationwide. SVB is uniquely positioned with access to the key players in the industry. We seek to help streamline their lives with a strong product set, intense knowledge of their industries, capable & caring bankers and a high level of customer service.

    SVB Private Bank is seeking an Operations Analyst who will provide day-to-day support to the Loan Servicing and Deposit Operations Team and will play a meaningful role in the success of the Private Banking Team. The ideal candidate will take ownership of their assigned tasks while striving to go beyond their basic job responsibilities for the benefit of the entire SVB platform/shareholders/clients.

    Reporting to the Sr. Manager Deposit and Loan Operations, the Operations Analyst will be responsible for theDeposit Account boarding and servicing functions and will contribute to thedaily operations of all aspects of deposit operations including new client and account onboarding, servicing and maintenance, money movement, and back office functions.The ideal candidate will have direct prior experience with consumer deposit account servicing and wire processing.

    Key Areas of Responsibility:

    • Processing of new client onboarding requests and money movement requests including wires and transfers

    • Processing ongoing client and account maintenance including but not limited to; address changes, name changes, client profile updates, online banking maintenance, and account closures.

    • Researching and resolvingclient and business partner escalations, identifying appropriate resolutions to ensure a positive client experience

    • Assist the preparation of audit responses andparticipate in audit walk throughs

    • Perform monthly certifications andquality assurance testing

    Qualifications:

    • 3+ years of related professional experience in the banking/financial services industry OR a Bachelors degree in a related field PLUS 1-2 years relevant experience in banking/financial services

    • Strong ability and desire to multi-task, handle high volumes, and support cross-functional teams

    • Display strong written and verbal communication skills

    • Have a solid understanding of consumer and commercial banking requirements, regulations, processes, and procedures

    • Be able to independently research and resolve simple to moderately complex scenarios

    • Highly adaptable and resilient, must be open to new insights and willing to support fluid workflows.

    • Must have a strong ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues

    • Effectively handle all tasks and responsibilities in a timely manner and with high quality

    • Strong Organizational Skills

    • Proficiency with MS Office

    • High School Diploma or equivalent

    • Some college preferred

    BASE PAY:

    $55,070.00 - $82,604.00

    Actual starting base pay will be determined on skills, experience, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. Total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other perks, as outlined in any formal offer made.
