Job Summary

The Private Equity Specialist is responsible for the marketing and distribution of Stifel’s private equity capabilities through superior product coverage and support to financial advisors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop sales management plan for each platform offering, including product-specific events and marketing content.
• Serve as a primary point of contact and relationship manager in relation to fundraising activity across the platform.
• Organize and manage educational events for Financial Advisors and clients.
• Provide analytical support to senior investment professionals for reporting, presentations and research projects.
• Act as a resource for Financial Advisors to educate, market and increase sales of alternative investments.
• Liaise with senior management, legal, compliance, and other product partners on key platform enhancements.

Qualifications

• Solid knowledge of alternative investment industry, general investment principles and characteristics across asset classes with strong finance and economic competences
• Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills

Education and Experience

• Minimum Required: Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or Accounting
• Minimum Required: 1-3 years of relevant work experience, but not limited to, private equity, investment banking, investment consulting or accounting and valuation services

Licenses and Credentials

• Minimum Required: Series 7 & Series 66 (or 65 and 63) within 12 months of hire

Systems and Technology

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with strong skillset with Excel and PowerPoint
