    OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE:

    The Quality Manager acts as a subject matter expert on the Population Health team and across the company. The Quality Manager is responsible for developing strategy as it pertains to quality metrics and implementing them across the internal team and care centers. The Quality Manager will also oversee day to day operations of the Population Health coordinators, provide quality training as needed to care centers, and drive performance in care center scheduling and quality gap closure. 

    ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

    • Build strategy on key quality and clinical opportunity areas by understanding the details of Privia’s value based care contracts and the quality outcomes they require. 

    • Become subject matter expert on all quality metrics in each value based program (MSSP, STARS, Commercial quality programs, and CAHPS/HOS)

    • Create and maintain quality measure education materials to share with care centers and internal teams

    • Manage day to day operations of Population Health Coordinators

    • Facilitate sharing of best practices between markets and with Care Centers and the Performance Team

    • Provide quality measure training to care centers and internal team members, as needed. 

    • Collaborate with external payer team members on strategies related to clinical quality outcomes

    • Manage and support relationships between internal partners and external payers 

    • Willing to assist with quality data mining and scheduling initiatives, as needed.

    OTHER JOB DUTIES:

    • Work with teams across the company to support their key processes or areas for improvement, as needed

    • Working knowledge of and experience with Electronic Health Records (EHRs)

    • Perform other duties as required

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Education - Bachelors required

    • 3-5 years of relevant working experience

    • Healthcare experience required; Experience with Quality programs such as MSSP and STARS strongly preferred

    • Medicare Advantage experience preferred (Medication Adherence, STARS, Risk Adjustment)

    • Some travel required <50%

    • Must comply with HIPAA rules and regulations

    • Experience w/ Technology being used -moderate to high knowledge of Excel, Word, PPT, Adobe PDFs, experience with downloading reports and documentation from portals and SFTP sites

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

    • Ability to constantly remain in a stationary position

    • Ability to constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as computer and printer

    • Ability to read and use close vision, including the ability to do so on a computer screen

    • Ability to frequently communicate and exchange information

    • Ability to frequently adjust focus
