Job Description
The Clinical Quality Coordinator works closely with the other team members of the Clinical Quality and Coding Department to close gap in care opportunities. Responsible for communicating and following through on patients in need of preventative health screenings, tests for managing chronic conditions, and patients in need of well visits to improve patient outcomes. The role involves collecting documentation from the electronic medical records to support gap closure, and performs medical record reviews in the field and remotely within the assigned physician practices. The Clinical Quality Coordinator will report to the Director, Quality.

Ability to multi-task and work under narrow timelines.
Professional conduct and communication skills.
Bachelor’s degree or Associate degree Preferred or relevant experience.
2+ years of Telephonic Customer Service experience
1+ years of experience in a healthcare background with medical terminology and familiarity of clinical issues
1+ years of working experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
Reliable transportation, valid Insurance, with a valid and unrestricted Driver's License within the State of CT
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in health-related field or direct experience in a healthcare industry role
Experience working in a physician, provider, and/or medical office
EMR (Electronic Medical Records) knowledge and experience
The hourly range for this role is $25-27/hr in base pay and exclusive of any bonuses or benefits. This role is also eligible for an annual bonus targeteted at 10%.The base pay offered will be determined based on relevant factors such as experience, education, and geographic location.
